Job description
Do you have a love and passion for dogs? We are currently hiring for an individual that shares our same love and passion for dogs to join our team! Our current opening is for a full and part-time kennel staff. This is someone who as a team will be responsible for the care of our boarding/daycare dogs. As a team, your responsibilities will include are but not limited to front desk duties such as interacting/engaging with customers and their dogs. Registering appointments, answering phones, checking in and out customers at front desk. Occasionally monitoring play yards, cleaning, feeding, etc. You will need to be a punctual individual and have reliable transportation. Holidays and weekends are a must. We take great pride in the cleanliness of our facility and will need someone who can help in maintaining it. We are a team here and you must be a team player. It takes all of us working together to make our facility the exceptional place it is.
Qualifications: • At least 1 year of experience working at a veterinary hospital or animal facility • Excellent communication skills • Intelligent and ability to learn quickly • Positive attitude and reliable • Passionate about customer service, helping others and exceptional pet care • Some supervisory and/or leadership experience is preferred

Groomer
Job Description
Dog Groomer
Primary responsibilities are to ensure that all pets in your care receive a groom that is of professional quality that meets or exceeds the client’s request without ever compromising the physical and emotional health of the pet. Forceful, aversive, aggressive handling, vocalizing or treatment will not be tolerated. Customer Service Oriented - Ability to take care of the customers’ needs while following company procedures. Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to customer needs; Responds to request for service and assistance. Build trust with customers. Willing and able to communicate directly with clients, both written and orally, about their dog. Occasionally work the playard and front desk which consists of answering phones, checking guests in and out, monitoring the dogs.

Qualifications:
This is a service-related industry and you should not only be skilled at customer service, but passionate about helping people

Most importantly, the candidate should have experience grooming or bathing all breeds of dogs and have own equipments/tools
•
Strong knowledge of individual breed standards and breed cuts. Use of proper scissoring techniques
•
A passion for animals and animal care, especially dogs and willing to learn animal behavior to ensure their safety
Must be able to work under conditions that require sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing and grasping
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends
Physically able to handle dogs of all sizes and to lift up to 60 lbs
